An open call from Mirai Labs
Tell us one thing you wish an assistant could do on your Mac: something that takes too long today, or that no assistant can do at all. Say it out loud or type it: no sign-up, it takes a minute. We read every case.
We are building an assistant that works with your computer the way you would: through its settings, apps and files. Your cases tell us what to teach it first.
System Settings, Finder, Notes, Calendar, Photos, Mail, Music, the clipboard, notifications, windows. Mac first, but any computer counts.
Things you could do by hand but never bother to, because it takes ten clicks. And things no assistant can do for you yet.
A moment from your actual day beats a feature list. Say what you were doing, what you wanted, and what got in the way.
Not quite what we need: questions a search engine or a chatbot already answers well, like “write me a poem” or “what is the capital of Peru”.
Upvote the ones you want too. One vote per case; vote for as many as you like.
It is public on this page, as Anonymous or under the nickname you chose. An automatic check keeps ads, abuse and junk off the board. The Mirai Labs team reads every case and uses them to decide what our assistant should learn first and to test it. By posting you agree that we may use and quote your case for this, as the terms describe. Please do not post anything private or anything you do not have the right to share.
Your recording is sent in short pieces to OpenAI’s speech-to-text service and turned into text that you can edit before posting; we do not keep the audio. Where that is unavailable, your browser’s own speech recognition is used. Only the text you post is saved.
Your cases and votes, your nickname if you set one, and your email address if you sign in with Google (only the Mirai team sees it). This browser keeps a random key so it remembers your cases. Cases are read by an AI model (Anthropic’s Claude) to keep spam off the board. To count visits and stop spam and fake votes we keep one-way hashes of your network address. The privacy policy has the details.
Yes: open “Mine” under Cases and press Delete. It is removed at once, with its votes.
No. Just post: your case appears as Anonymous. Add a nickname if you want it shown, and sign in with Google only to take part in the prize, so that we can reach the winner. This browser remembers your cases, so you can find and delete them under “Mine”.
